Our online membership community designed to help you master your workflow, and improve your focus, flow and impact.

We want you to have more confidence, more impact and less stress in your role. Together we can build simple routines that can add up to incremental and substantial improvements.

This program is focused on providing the support you need to embed a sustainable cadence for your improvement work. Through the Progress Collective, we will help you level up your leadership of self, team and organisation. We will enable you to rise above the urgent and focus on the next most important steps.

Our processes and tools are simple and effective but not easy to do consistently. We’ve learned that by providing the right content and community, we can help leaders embed new routines and habits. Cumulatively building up important, incremental shifts in leadership practice is how breakthroughs happen.

We are constantly adding new tools, ideas and research to provide fresh inspiration and more efficient ways of working. Yet the core goal is to focus on the most essential things and embed them as ongoing ways moving forward.

What You’ll Learn

In the Progress Collective we’ll explore practical strategies to develop your own personal workflow management system and outline processes for embedding new approaches into your routines.

During this longitudinal program, you will:

  • Identify what matters most to move the needle on your identified priorities
  • Apply the 4D framework: Dump, Delay, Delegate or Do
  • Create intentionality in our calendar flow over the day, week, term and year
  • Develop a collection of habits and behaviours for capturing, organising, prioritising and executing your essential tasks

  • Rejuvenate to sustain quality work and human interactions over time
  • Simplify your improvement plans and refine your strategies
  • Examine and apply relevant research evidence
  • Have the option to learn and apply advanced tools to enhance strategy, implementation and evaluation

The Agile School Leadership Program gave our school’s leadership team the knowledge, skills and tools to strategically analyse the evidence collected as part of our situational analysis and collectively craft a detailed, targeted improvement plan. We were able to identify practices that were successful in our context and devise an action plan to incrementally leverage these practices to a greater scale across the school.

C. Wilton

Deputy Principal

In the midst of lockdowns and new restrictions there is little time left to attend to the strategic priorities we build together. Being part of the Collective meant there was support, clarity and processes to make ever-increasing gains. It really felt like I was being executive coached to make sure that in the midst of immense challenge, gains for students were not lost.

S. Taylor

Head of School (Secondary)

What you’ll be doing in the next 12 months.

Immersion Sessions (Quarterly, Half-day)

Our program is anchored around quarterly half-day live workshop sessions, delivered by Dr Simon Breakspear. This is the backbone of how we will work together. Practical, focussed and rejuvenating, these sessions will give you an anchor point to step out of the urgent and reconnect with the most important aspects of your role.

Make progress by applying simple and effective approaches that you know to be effective but often don’t have time to do in your busy role.

Be inspired by learning about new research and best practice examples. Engage in collaborative problem solving, clarify your thinking and plan the next cycle of your improvement work.

Momentum Sessions (Quarterly, 45-60 min)

Cut through the confusion and get focused on your most important work. These energising sessions will enable you to rise above the urgent and move into a more strategic mindset. You will leave re-energised and clear about the most important high-leverage actions to work on next.

Online Resource Portal

Access videos, tools and protocols on demand when you need them for your team. Explore our comprehensive collection of resources and return too all content that has been delivered throughout the year.

The Collective has acted as a rich anchor for professional dialogue. It provided our team with a well sequenced series of check-ins, as opportunities to pause, reflect and gain momentum. We are deeply grateful to Simon and his team for their guidance and quality of tools they so generously shared.

A. Loreaux

Dean of Learning

The tools and processes from the Collective have dramatically enhanced the clarity of our purpose, the group thinking we are doing, the precision of our work, and the overall effectiveness and efficiency in which we now consistently attain continuous school improvement.

C. Howard

This series has sharpened my focus on how to continually improve the schools that I serve. From the models for clearer thinking, to the focused sessions on strategies or practices, and the dialogue with other people doing the work, this learning has been impactful.

C. Haley

The opportunity to work closely under the guidance and inspiration of Simon Breakspear and his team of experts is a privilege. The Agile Leaders Collective has provided us with leadership tools that work in the ‘now’. Practicing with these tools and strategies in real time and getting results has made a difference to how we lead.

Can I do this program on my own?

Yes of course! Every cohort has at least 20-30% of participants who join on their own. Whilst we strongly advocate for the benefit of team learning, you can still experience a rich learning program engaging on your own.

How much time will this take?

Our membership program is fully flexible.  We hold four 3-hour online workshops over the 12 months of membership, held quarterly.  We also have quarterly momentum sessions of 45 min.  Attendance of these sessions is completely optional, and all will be recorded so you can watch them or re-watch them at a time that suits you. We will never pressure you during the membership. Do what you can, with the time that you have, and we will be there every step of the way to help you gain as much benefit as possible.

What happens if I miss the workshops?

We totally understand how busy and unpredictable school life can be. All of our faculty have worked in schools, and spend time with educators every week. All of the immersion workshops and momentum sessions are recorded and made available within 24 hours of delivery. So never feel pressured or stressed about missing a session or needing to rush out to do with an unexpected incident. We are with you every step of the way with flexible approaches for you to engage with the content when you have the time and cognitive bandwidth. You will continue to have access to the recorded sessions for a full 12 months after your membership ends.

What time zone do the live sessions run in, and are they recorded?

Our workshops are streamed from Sydney, Australia, and are in the AEST or AEDT time zone (depending on Daylight Savings). You may not be able to make all workshops over the year, so we record every session so that you can engage in your own time with the content that is most relevant to you.

How long will I have access to the course materials?

You will have access to all of the recordings and online materials for a full 12-months after your membership ends.

What happens once I complete the 12-month membership?

You will have the option to continue in the Progess Collective and join for a further 12 months (depending on the membership continuing).
